Our client is in need of a Director of Compliance. This is a
direct-hire remote opportunity.

Director of Compliance Role:
Develop, implement, and manage a complete Compliance Program to
prevent and detect illegal, unethical or improper conduct.
Consult and work closely with legal team to leverage the compliance
function.
Perform periodic review of Compliance Program budget and staffing
levels in order to ensure it is adequately resourced and empowered
to function effectively.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy
regulations.
Develop an audit program and compliance monitoring used to ensure
internal controls, mitigate risk and correct non-conformance.
Serve as an expert on compliance topics.
Work with Human Resources and other company leaders to develop a
compliance training program.
Coordinate and interact with federal and state regulators on
compliance issues.
Plan, implement, and oversee risk-related programs.
Create and coordinate proper channels for reporting of compliance
issues.
Foster commitment by senior and middle management.
Investigate alleged misconduct and analysis, and remediation of
misconduct.
Review marketing materials to ensure materials are confined by FDA
requirements.
Champion a corporate culture where employees recognize, abide by
and are aligned with core values.
Director of Compliance Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree; preferably combined with a Master's degree in
Public Health or an M.B.A.
10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, risk management
with at least 5 years in the Life Sciences field.
Knowledge and experience with laws, regulations, and industry
guidelines that affect the healthcare industry.
Deep knowledge and understanding of compliance risk management
practices and methodologies, including risk assessment,
monitoring/surveillance, and testing activities.
Demonstrated leadership attributes and capabilities.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills in order to
effectively influence employees at all levels
Strong record of integrity and strict confidentiality
capabilities.
