Job Description:
Current Need The Sr. Director of Product Strategy (Oncology)
leads the products strategy vision for Oncology technologies as a
part of being a leader within the Oncology Technology Strategy
team. This role will work closely with internal and external
stakeholders to define and own the strategic roadmap for Oncology
technologies across McKesson's Community Oncology businesses, in
support to their business priorities and in alignment with the
Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS) business unit and
Enterprise strategies. This role reports to the VP of Oncology
Technology Strategy Position Description Be a member of the team
that defines the Oncology Technology Strategy for McKesson's
Community Oncology businesses, and manages the Oncology Technology
Portfolio. The Director of Product Strategy for Oncology will
partner with other members of the team, Practice leadership and
team members, USON and Provider Solutions leaders, Technology team
leaders and other stakeholders to identify gaps in our portfolio,
analyze needs and requirements, identify potential products for our
portfolio, design and execute pilots, and provide recommendations
to modernize our technology portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Identify gaps in the technology portfolio and work with the Product
Strategy team to conduct new product discovery; Identify potential
vendors/partners and assess their solutions as to their fit with
our portfolio and ability to address needed gaps Help make
strategic investment decisions to modernize the Oncology technology
portfolio, including establishing and communicating requirements
and making the business case Design and execute pilots to test
specific solutions; Define implementation strategies for specific
new solutions, including needed data access, integrations, risks
Determining how mainstream and emerging technologies can be used to
advance the Oncology business strategy and optimize Oncology
business operations Working collaboratively with the McKesson
Technology, Ontada and external product and engineering teams on
the development of new products, product enhancements and product
redesign Craft and deliver presentations and recommendations to
leaders in the organization, to gain alignment and drive change
Minimum Requirements Typically requires 13 years of professional
experience and 6 years of diversified leadership, planning,
communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or
equivalent experience) Critical Skills 5 years of experience in
technology and healthcare, including relevant experience in
technology transformation, product management, user-centric design,
or equivalent Experience driving digital transformation, managing
technology products, and working with internal and external
partners Proven track record in identification and successful
deployment of new IT technologies in a medium to large healthcare
organization Broad understanding of the current and emerging
technology trends and developments Experience working in the
healthcare domain Additional Skills Experience in Oncology and
Specialty health Demonstrated strengths in communicating complex
concepts and business models to variety of internal and external
stakeholders Understanding of technology solution lifecycle and
portfolio management Additional experience in product management or
leading corporate innovation programs is a plus Demonstrated
leadership through direct and matrixed relationships Experience
leading a team of specialists Ability to zoom out and recognize
trends, interdependencies, redundancies, and structural issues
Applying lean startup/agile methods Education Bachelor's degree in
health, business, or technology-related discipline or equivalent
experience required; Master's degree strongly preferred Working

other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive
opportunities may be offered. Our Base Pay Range for this position
