Health family._ Job Overview The Manager of Clinical Skills
Training has tactical responsibility for the training team who
executes THPG's basic clinical training and coaching programs to
various clinical support staff, primarily but not limited to
medical assistants.The position facilitates the THPG new practice
manager onboarding program, departmental information updates for
the training, and THPG practice manager meetings.The position works
closely and collaboratively with other THPG Learning and
Development leaders, the Clinical Program Manager, and across THR
to continuously develop, evaluate, and monitor educational programs
to meet organizational objectives and goals.The position manages
the daily operations of all clinical staff training services and
resources including but not limited to clinical operational
solutions.The manager coordinates the design and delivery of
training solutions for diverse audiences in ILT, virtual,
eLearning, coaching sessions, and blended formats/platforms.The
position possesses intimate knowledge of THPG's policies and
procedures and workflow best practices for effective and efficient
work in THPG ambulatory clinics by clinical support staff.The
position coordinates with the Clinical Program Manager to ensure
the standardization of clinical training, the consist training
delivery and training accountability through carefully designed
evaluation and assessment metrics and reports.At Texas Health

Group (THPG), Dallas, TX. Initially onsite Monday-Friday, but can
be set up to be remote part of the week after process and
expectations have been set. Core work hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00
AM - 5:00 PM. Job Duties Overall leadership, vision, and
development of clinical staff training team. Team alignment to
Clinical program goals, clinical training strategies, and adult
learning principles.Hires, trains, supervises, manages, and
develops direct reportsEnsures a high degree of standardization and
execution consistency among direct reports and within training
deliveryDirects and oversees the design and development of
materials and content for Instructor Led Training (ILT),
At-the-Elbow (ATE) training, eLearning, virtual, and blended
learning programs.Sets the vision for development and delivery of
basic clinical trainingOversees the design and development of all
clinical staff training materialsOversees the collection of new
practice manager training materials from THPG department
leadersResponds to issue escalations related to training
deficiencies and/or safety events where clinical staff training may
be neededParticipates in project related to continuous improvements
related to clinical staff workflows.Works with THRU, Vendors, and
Practice Managers, and the Clinical Program Manager for Service
Line (MA Preceptors & externs) to create pathways to recruit
medical assistants and externs to secure permanent positions in
THPG through new hire training, skill assessment, and
coaching.Administrator of clinical training tools and materials for
PMs, MAs, and others in MyTalent LMS and Sharepoint support
sites.Special ProjectsCompletes new clinical-oriented projects, as
assigned by chain of commandOther duties as assigned Education H.S.
diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional experience in lieu of
Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's Degree required. Experience
5 years Medical Office experience to include a minimum of 2 years
of leadership or practice management experience (with Bachelor's
Degree) required. Or, 9 years Medical Office experience to include
a minimum of 2 years of leadership or practice management
experience (without Bachelor's Degree) required 1 year Outpatient
Practice Management experience preferred1 year LMS Administration
experience preferred1 year experience using Epic EMR systems
preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse, Or,
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse, Or, MA - Medical Assistant
Certified Medical Assistant required upon hire Skills _ Strong
leadership/people management skills _Demonstrated abilities using
business software (such as MS Office Suite), computer skills using
desktop computers/laptops/smart phones, analytical/critical
thinking skills, and knowledge of financial processes for
organizations.Previous practice management experience (or
experience working with Practice Managers)Have (or can obtain)
Knowledge of THPG operational workflows, policies, and
proceduresAbility to do training needs assessments to identify gaps
between clinical skill needs and clinical training materials,
resources, and courses. Well respected by peers and management and
viewed as a valuable resource to their medical organization.
Excellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to shape
communication to appropriately address the rank and needs of the
various clinical audiencesKeep records of all training and
interventions and the outcomes to be reported and accessible to
