Senior Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of programs and related projects in support of strategic initiatives within the Manufacturing and Sales organizations. Summary of Role and How You'll Fit In In this role you will drive large scale, multi-year, cross-functional, high-impact initiatives and projects to enable the company to achieve short and long-term goals in direct support of our growth strategy. You will work with leaders across Production, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, Environmental Health & Safety, and Global Supply Chain. This position will report to the Director of Strategic Project Management Location: Remote (U.S only) Travel Requirement: 25% FLSA Status: Exempt About The Team The team you will work with models the Orora core values of passion, respect, integrity, and teamwork with each other and with co-workers. The team seeks to understand, trusts each other, is transparent, owns issues or problems collectively, proactively communicates, recognizes contributions, celebrates wins, and has fun in the process. - What You'll be Responsible For The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and directing several projects and initiatives from idea to project close to ensure successful execution and delivery. This includes working with stakeholders to define scope, time, resources, budgets, KPIs, and change and communication management needs while effectively identifying critical dependencies and proactively managing risks and issues within projects and across initiatives and programs with key dependencies. The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership, guidance, facilitation, project oversight, escalation, and communication for projects, and provide status updates to multiple levels of the organization. - The Senior Project Manager role is vital to the organization's success. You are a highly effective communicator who listens to learn. You seek out different points of view when trying to solve complex problems. You're not afraid to speak your mind and know it's better to call attention to something early on and work with the team on solutions. You have a sense of urgency and deliver on-time, on-budget results. You keep the big picture in focus as you handle the details. You are the subject matter expert and people come to you for advice and counsel. - What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree required, preferably in business, business management, or program/project management
  • 5+ years in program management, strategic initiative management, or progressive project management across multiple functions and stakeholders Additional Required Qualifications:
    • Proven ability to
      • Successfully lead, manage, and deliver large, multi-year, complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders on-time, on-budget, and with high quality
      • Define scope, goals, and expected results (KPIs) that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior executives, sponsors, and business owners
      • Create, utilize, and/or improve standard project management documents such as Project Charter, Scope Document, Schedule, Resource Plan, Budget, Business Case, Risk/Issue Log, Project Closure, etc.
      • Build and implement end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
      • Lead development of business cases and obtain inputs from required stakeholders
      • Proactively communicate and coordinate project details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner
      • Resolve and/or advance issues in a timely fashion
      • Identify, assess, and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle
      • Create and maintain all pertinent documentation, including but not limited to business cases, status reports, work plans, budgets, and presentations
      • Understand team dynamics and adapt program and project management methodologies as needed to ensure project success
      • Seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change
      • Assist in developing, reviewing, and continuously improving project management processes
      • Facilitate analyzing problems, evaluating alternatives, and identifying solutions
      • Quickly build trust and establish credibility through all levels of the organization
      • Drive change and lead through influence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
