The Director Corporate Human Resources is a strategic business
partner role to in-office and hybrid Support Center team members
and leaders within the IT organization across the U.S.. The
Director Corporate Human Resources is hands-on, drives functional
excellence and provides full cycle HR support. The ideal candidate
will be a dynamic, well-rounded HR leader with experience in the
administration of general HR practices and policy, who brings fresh
ideas, strategies, and the ability to develop the organization from
a performance and culture perspective. Skill in performance
management principals, succession planning and workplace
investigations will also be relevant for the ideal candidate. The
Director Corporate Human Resources reports directly to the Sr
Director Corporate Human Resources. Essential
Responsibilities/Success Factors
- Manage the planning, administration, and implementation of HR
project initiatives driving executional excellence and change
management to broad based initiatives including performance review
process, succession planning, etc.
- Provides overall direction for the integration of sound human
resources practices, policies and strategic initiatives for the
department, building and leveraging relationships and networks at
all levels as a valued and trusted HR Business Partner.
- Responsible for all team member relations activities including,
but not limited to: conducting workplace investigations, providing
advice and guidance to leaders on performance, maintaining strong
connections with the workforce to address issues and monitor
trends, as well as interpret employment law and HR policies and
practices.
- Provides support to team members and leaders in a variety of
areas including: performance management, training and development,
recruiting, talent planning, compensation and benefits, leave of
absence management, risk and compliance and relevant laws and
regulations.
- Partners collaboratively with leaders and Talent Acquisition on
recruiting and recruitment strategies.
- Facilitates new hire onboarding and HR training and
participates in the development of content.
- Leads and supports the engagement survey process, and the
implementation of strategies and action plans to strengthen team
member engagement
- Manages and supports team member offboarding, including exit
interviews and unemployment claims.
- Provides advice and assist with the creation of workplace
programs, policies, and procedures..
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned Supervisory

- Rare Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully,
an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative
of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required:
- 7-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in human
resources at the professional/management level in Support
Center/Corporate Office setting
- 3-5 years supporting an IT Organization
- Experience in leading organizational change initiatives and
driving transformational initiatives in large, complex
organization
- Project Management experience, including leading and/or
consulting on large-scale initiatives and projects and related
communication
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a closely
related field; OR any combination of education and experience that
clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the
position.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of federal, multi-state
and local employment, wage and hour, and workers' compensation
laws.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (i.e. Dayforce,
Workday) Preferred:
- Experience supporting IT organization undergoing
Enterprise-wide ERP implementation
- Certified HR Professional (PHR, SPHR and/or SHRM-CP
Certification)
- Multi-Unit and/or Multi-State HR experience
- Strategic thinker with extensive experience solving complex
organizational problems through people-related solutions, with the
ability to translate strategies into tactical actions and
solutions.
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a
fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities,
demands and timelines.
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple
and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective
work relationships, influence behavior, and manage change.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal
form at a high level
- Direct working knowledge of major HR functions such as team
member relations and investigations, performance management,
training and development, recruiting, compensation and benefits,
HRIS systems, leave of absence management, and the relevant laws
and regulations.
- Experience coaching and counseling supervisors to effectively
develop team members and improve performance outcomes. Experience
coaching supervisors in having candid conversations with team
members regarding performance issues.
- Excellent customer focused service and ability to advise and
partner at all levels of management on a variety of complex HR
policies, procedures, and practices.
- Experience advancing diversity, equity and inclusion
initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive team member
information and adhere to strict data privacy standards.
- Ability to work with virtual teams in different time zones
across the U.S. Work Environment/Physical Activity The physical
