The RoleSixth Street has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to join our team as a Vice President on our Structured Products Compliance and Reporting team supporting the firm's Credit Market Strategies business, including Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) and other structured credit products. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. This person will be be responsible for multiple facets of the CLOs' compliance reporting, financial reporting, cash management, investor reporting, and vehicle performance/analysis deliverables. -Strong managerial and supervisory skills are required as this function, and the team that supports it, are a key control over this business unit.
Core Responsibilities

• 
  
• Oversight and management of the CLOs' Collateral Administrators
  
• Oversight and management of the CLOs' third-party record keepers
  
• Management of the team with ability to directly:
  
• Review Collateral Administrator reconciliations of investment portfolio management systems to the CLO Trustees
  
• Review monthly and quarterly compliance reporting prepared by the CLO Trustees and/or warehouse financing counterparties and monitor key compliance tests on an ongoing basis
  
• Review quarterly CLO distributions and ensure accurate and timely payments
  
• Assist with quarterly valuation process
  
• Manage the CLO expense allocation, payment and reporting process
  
• Review management and incentive fee calculations and payments
  
• Assist with CLO GAAP financial statement review
  
• Develop and maintain efficient SOX-compliant internal controls and business processes
  
• Identify and help creatively solve for critical accounting and reporting, compliance, and operational issues
  
• Ability to lead special projects and analysis for firm leadership
  
• Strong ability to work with front office personnel while ensuring strong controls and processes
  
• Strong understanding of the related systems/technology to successfully run this function (Experience with Allvue BMS a plus) -

  • 8+ years of structured product experience in a combination of public accounting or advisory firms, collateral admin, CLO trustees, or similar role at an investment management firm.
    
  • Strong understanding and application of structured product governing documents and industry practices
    
  • Strong industry network
    
  • Experience with GIPS reporting standards a plus
    
  • Strong finance, accounting and excel skills; professional certifications a plus
    
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
    
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and proactive
    
  • Deadline-oriented to meet time-sensitive regulatory and contractual requirements
    
  • Adept at problem solving
    
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
    
  • Candidate should be able to balance multiple demands and deliverables
