Senior Project Manager -Company: - Our client is a veteran-owned Texas-based company that brings a team of experienced professionals to help their clients execute their civil engineering infrastructure projects with quality, integrity, efficiency and safety; projects including: -

  • Material Management and Expediting -Their typical clients are power delivery utilities, renewable power generators, power storage owners/developers, and large load facilities. They focus on living their core values, taking care of their employees, and providing excellent customer service. -Overview: - The Senior Project Manager will lead and coordinate all aspects of external clients' and internal projects, including development and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires a commitment to core values due to complex challenges, different personalities, and multiple parties involved in the projects. The Senior Project Manager must ensure client success while seeking Company profitability goals. -Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Lead the Project Team through planning and execution of assigned projects.
    • Develop clear project scope by coordinating efforts between the planning group, operations team, construction managers, and engineers.
    • Coordinate a resource plan to ensure that engineering, procurement, and construction efforts efficiently accomplish the required scope.
    • Develop and adhere to detailed project budgets and maintain those budgets through project closeout.
    • Develop and adhere to detailed project schedules and maintain those schedules through project closeout.
    • Coordinate internal and external personnel to ensure that engineering, procurement, and construction efforts adhere to scope expectations and maintain the schedule.
    • Process and assist others in processing request documents for project approval, purchase orders, work orders, and others as necessary to complete the project.
    • Provide forward-looking plans to help the Project Team accomplish multiple projects simultaneously and identify potential problems before impacting the projects.
    • Coordinate with the Project Team to solve problems as they arise and provide solutions to management.
    • Approve invoices for work performed by contractors associated with the project.
    • Work on-site, as needed, to support the construction management staff and contractors.
    • Advise the system planning group and company leadership on constructability, schedule, and budgetary concerns for projects in the development phase.
    • Ensure all aspects of the projects are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with Company policies, compliance requirements, regulations, and laws.
    • Provide ongoing project status reports throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide supervision of employees and contractors as assigned.
    • Interface directly with clients as a primary lead. - -Qualifications/Education/Experience:
      • 10+ years of experience in the areas of engineering, construction, and/or project management.
      • A minimum of 5 years of supervisor/management experience.
      • Direct management of multiple projects within the construction lifecycle simultaneously.
      • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of programs. -Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
      • Experience in construction of existing transmission, distribution facilities, battery energy storage systems, or data center type facilities.
      • Project Management Professional certification.
      • Ability to identify and resolve risks for the project and, most importantly, for the safety of personnel.
      • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is critical.
      • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and training skills are essential while holding others accountable.
      • Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications.
      • Highly motivated, positive attitude, disciplined, self-directed. -Preferred Qualifications:
        • Experience in construction of existing transmission, distribution facilities, battery energy storage systems, or data center type facilities.
        • Project Management Professional certification. -Physical Requirements:
          • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
          • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
          • Must be able to travel for extended periods in a vehicle, airplane or other transportation means -Compensation:
