This individual will report to the VP, Club Finance, and be a key resource in the implementation and location level execution of a companywide purchasing system, as well as other key operational initiatives. This individual will develop an in-depth knowledge of the operational regions and business areas supported and will be an integral part of the rollout, training, and compliance with our new purchasing system.The ideal candidate is someone who brings outstanding planning and management skills, the initiative to train, teach, and coach, and the willingness to tackle new challenges and operate at the intersection of finance and business operations.Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides learning on procurement systems and processes; develops learning outlines, documents, procedures, and user manuals; and provides ad hoc technical assistance with procurement systems
• Assist in overseeing the development of action plan(s) to establish timeliness, and address issues such as staffing and training requirements, hardware/software needs, integration of new standards/procedures, maintaining operational continuity and related transition activities
• Reviews PCard spend and oversees internal controls of separation of buying and receiving authority; conducts periodic card audits; ensures documentation is in compliance with policies; and manages non-compliant situations
• Determines spending patterns and appropriate action for non-compliant transactions working with the Purchasing team and directly with General Managers and Department Heads
• Prepares and monitors performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, processes, and projects (both procurement focused and other future operational initiatives) Qualifications & Experience:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree, with 5+ years of experience in operations strategy, accounting, or finance
  • Must have strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial statements, and the ability to link operational performance to financial data
  • Experience conducting analyses, identifying change impacts, identifying barriers/risks, compiling results, and developing action plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including expertise in developing communication vehicles targeted to specific stakeholder audience.
  • Experience identifying user and operational needs. Not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo, and able to develop strategies, plans, and training resources to address needs
  • Experience in Oracle Procurement and Supply Chain Management modules a plus
