Ten to One Rum: Central Regional Sales Director - Candidates
must be based in Texas (preference North TX - DFW Area) -
Candidates must have experience managing and building a spirit
brand within a distributor network in the State of TX. - Territory:
TX (RNDC), IL, MN, WI (Winebow), CO (BBG), and other key markets
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Central Region Sales Director is responsible
for a go-to market strategy that will increase customer loyalty,
distribution growth, and company profitability by continuing to
build relationships with existing retailers, distributors, and
brokers. This includes development of an annual forecast, budget,
and sales plan. The Central Region Sales Director actively manages
bottom-up planning with each key account on annual bases and sets
quarterly and annual objectives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and execute the Western US wholesale sales efforts of
the company to achieve growth, volume, and margin goals *EXPERIENCE
MANAGING RNDC a plus
- Research new target accounts that can drive volume for our
brand. Identify opportunities for developing the business.
- Ownsrelationship with accounts through a team of dedicated
Sales, beginning with initial presentation (ifnecessary) and
including custom programming.
- Worksclosely with the RNDC TX and trade marketing team to drive
the strategy and management ofpricing, coupons, programming,
incentives, events, etc.
- Develop relationships with distributors and accounts while
implementing brand strategies and objectives
- Requests analytics for each account, extracts insights and
adjusts plans accordingly.
- Developsvolume by driving promotions with positive ROI in
assigned accounts.
- Managesinventory for each account, accounting for back-order
management and electronicordering.
- Collaborate to establish distributor objectives and priorities,
annual programming calendar, collateral needs, sales incentives,
and target account lists
- Maintains relationships with key accounts on-premise and retail
(indy and chains).
- Report activities with the tools designated within the
timelines prescribed, maintaining a database with account contact
information.
- Record all activity and feedback adhering to monthly deadlines,
develop creative solutions to problems, share learnings that can be
helpful to other markets.
- Timely submission of in-market activity via VIP Karma App.
- Timely submission of expenses monthly via Expensify.
- Social Media and Public Relations: Use knowledge of relevant
social media channels to develop brand awareness in conjunction
with the marketing team and In line with overall brand goals.
- Creative Insights: Collaborate with management to create new
innovative programming that is on target with the brand image.
- Legal / Compliance: Adherence to local liquor authority
regulations and governmental laws. KPIs and Key Metrics:
- Daily communication with dedicated sales division of
distributor (TAG) and General Market.
- Conduct formal GSMs with dedicated sales division of
distributor once a month (as permitted).
- Conduct formal GSMs with General Market sales division of
distributor quarterly.
- Achieve all key brand KPIsand financial targets including
volume goal.
- Complete at a minimum the monthly and quarterly key performance
indicators as agreed.
- Education and Training: Conduct education and training events
at all account levels including distributor teams. Organization:
- Reports to CCO
- Works directly with Distributor and local Sales team.
Skill Requirements:
- Love of Rum.
- Commitment to having fun.
- Self motivated, goal oriented and can work independently.
- Confidence to approach consumers and account managers of
diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication & selling skills.
- Highly engaging, professional, and competitive individual
- The ability to both develop and maintain relationships with key
distributors and accounts
- 5+ years' experience at the Supplier/Distributor management
level Excellent people skills & outgoing personality.
- Knowledge of luxury spirits/wine products, competitive markets,
brands, customer issues and typical needs
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel on evenings and
weekends
- Must live in California (preference SoCal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be a team
player who can work well with or without supervision
- Travel as required to achieve goals. Compensation: Competitive
base salary + 20% annual bonus + Car Allowance + Phone allowance,
