Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance operations for our company's facilities, equipment, and machinery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our production processes. You will be responsible for managing a talented team, collaborating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor both preventative and corrective maintenance plans to uphold the optimal performance of buildings, machinery, and equipment.Provide leadership in maintaining injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production.Supervise the maintenance department's activities and cultivate a high-performing team dedicated to excellence.Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities that align with production needs.Build and nurture a top-tier mechanical and preventative maintenance team, fostering equipment reliability, efficiency, and parts availability.Oversee external contractors engaged in facility installations and projects.Liaise with various internal stakeholders to meet customer deadlines and organizational goals.Lead the recruitment, training, coaching, and performance assessment of employees, partnering with HR for personnel matters.Take charge of safety team activities, enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a secure work environment.Cultivate a positive work atmosphere that encourages collaboration, innovation, and teamwork.Identify opportunities for process improvement, equipment enhancements, and quality optimization, and recommend feasible solutions.Propose modifications to working conditions and equipment usage to boost operational efficiency.Analyze and resolve work-related issues or provide guidance to employees in addressing challenges.Maintain accurate time and maintenance records, and prepare justifications for capital equipment investments.Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials required for maintenance tasks.Uphold regular and reliable attendance as an essential function of the role.Note that this job description isn't exhaustive and responsibilities may evolve over time.Requirements:Operate under direct supervision, addressing basic issues and escalating complex matters.Promote and uphold a safe working environment, documenting safety training and incidents as necessary.Contribute strategic input and oversight to departmental projects, making informed decisions and implementing sustainable solutions.Prioritize customer needs over individual or departmental goals in strategic decision-making.Continuously assess existing programs and processes, introducing new initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.Demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and adaptability during change management.Collaborate seamlessly with departments, vendors, and customers to drive organizational success.Foster the growth and development of direct reports through coaching and opportunities.Manage and resolve conflicts within and between teams.Embrace the opportunity to build a fulfilling career with us.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packages for our team members, creating an environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.
