Vice President, Global Contingent Worker Strategy Lead

The Corporate and Workplace Solutions Division (CWS) focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm.

How We're Organized
Workplace Experience - Encompasses the comprehensive onsite workplace experience, how people interact with the workplace, on and off-site events and our overall location strategy. Departments include Events, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development and On-Site Solutions, which is comprised of Document Management, Facilities, Ground Transportation and Hospitality.
Spend Management - Encompasses the functions responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties -- advising commercial agreements, managing third party and payment risk and driving operating efficiency. Departments include Product Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Governance, Procure to Pay, Integrated Travel and Expense and Infrastructure and Transformation.
CWS Engineering - Aligns several engineering functions focused on collaboration and productivity tools. Departments include Digital Workplace, Client and Production Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Spend, Data and Automation, Windows Engineering and Product Success and Delivery Engineering.
Office of Global Security (OGS) - Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety and Crisis Management.
Divisional Management (COO) - Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include Business Unit Management, Communications and User Engagement, Risk and Environmental, Social & Governance.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:

This role will lead the next phase of our Contingent Worker Sourcing and value creation strategy, owning the vendor relationship with our Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role will create and implement the global strategy for utilizing the MSP effectively, including both KPI & SLA management but also will be the decision maker and strategic partner as to what types and volumes of spend we manage via this program rather than direct hiring via our existing strategic sourcing team. -
The individual will ensure commerciality, speed to market, responsiveness to business needs and GS business connectivity, but also the close management of how our CW pipeline feeds to our full time hires. -
You will have experience within a large CW program in a leadership capacity, have worked globally, understanding both regulatory and cultural nuances around the world when it comes to staffing. -
You will also have direct experience of the contracting and oversight of staffing vendors, both in an MSP but also direct hire capacity. You will have a keen eye for detail, utilizing data and trends to inform your decision making, and will work hard to build relationships both across the staffing partners but also within the GS businesses. -
You will have proven experience of developing and leading a vision, executing both as a shiner contributor but also part of a team. You will have the ability to communicate with ease to senior leadership, value process and structure but also be willing to solve dynamic problems, prioritizing the right delivery elements at the right time. -
Finally, you will be comfortable partnering with technology partners, understand the role of technology within this space and the trends around it. You may also have led platform transformations and may have already had experience of tools such as WAND, SAP Fieldglass, etc. -
The role will be a full time, in office role with flexibility as needed from time to time. You will work as part of a global team and may be required to travel once a year. -
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Key Experience:


  • 5-8 years in leadership position owning either spend, people or platforms. -
  • Experience leading large Contingent Labor programs for global organizations. -
  • Experience creating strategy, influencing outcomes and persuading stakeholders. -
  • Experience working alongside a Strategic Sourcing team or being part of such a team. -
  • Understanding of CW regulations, contracting dynamics and staffing vendors. -
  • Vendor and MSP oversight experience, including experience managing 3rd parties in a regulated industry. -
  • Ability to dynamically prioritize and communicate rationale. -
  • Comfortable with data analytics and using data to make decisions. -
  • Excellent executive communication. -
