Job Title:Business Training and Development ManagerLocation:TX - Dallas/IrvingWhat you'll do:As a Business Training and Development Manager, your role would involve overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of employee training and development programs. You'll identify training and development needs within the organization, understanding where skill gaps exist and what knowledge areas require enhancement. You'll design training curricula and materials, ensuring they align with organizational goals and individual development needs. You'll be responsible for executing training initiatives, coordinating sessions, ensuring active participation from employees, and regularly assess the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as needed to enhance learning outcomes. This role will oversee Correspondent and Retail lending training and development needs.What we are looking for:

  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
  • Translate requirements into training that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
  • Deliver training courses
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee's work behavior
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
  • Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee developmentWhat you need to have:
    • 5+ years training experience facilitating residential mortgage training for Mortgage loan origination and operations roles inclusive of curriculum development and classroom delivery
    • Supervisory experience is required
    • Minimum of three years mortgage industry experience, with a thorough ability to recognize and review basic mortgage loan documentation
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player
    • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc .) and Google Mail/Docs
    • Proven ability to master the full training cycle
    • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniquesCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $102,276.00 - $126,342.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
