Senior VP, Sales-Complex Care Management

Position Overview:



The SVP of Sales will work in conjunction with the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Medical Officer, VP Business Development and other company executives to promote and sell the services of Signify to its existing and growing customer and prospect base. The SVP of Sales will be responsible for generating new leads, presenting the companys services to prospective clients, addressing prospect questions, negotiating contracts within parameters set by company leadership and closing deals. This position will be expected to travel to client/prospect sites as well as industry events throughout the year.

Education/Licensing Requirements:






  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business or related field, required


    Skills/Experience Requirements:






    • 7-10 years experience prospecting new business accounts and selling Care Management related services and/or software products in a hunter sales role
    • Minimum 5 years experience selling large healthcare clients in the healthcare Payer market is required. Medicare Advantage, Commercial and/or Medicaid and 5+ years experience preferred
    • Extensive experience calling on and selling to C level healthcare executives
    • Proven track record closing large Chronic Care Management deals to large and mid-sized health plans
    • Excellent understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment and perform multiple roles and functions
    • Strong organizational and quality management skills with ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities
    • Experience maintaining a sales pipeline through CRM software provided by Signify Health (preferably a strong background with Salesforce)

          Essential Job Responsibilities:






          • Develop immediate and practical experience in securing new sales and vetting new approaches in the Care Management market
          • Implement strategic sales and retention activities
          • Provide regular updates to President and VP Business Development
          • Identify new sales approaches to improve the prospect assimilation process
          • Create presentations to provide client specific clinical and operational outcomes, ROI, new company offerings and the overall value proposition of engaging in Signify Complex Care Management solutions

          • Research and analyze environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. Strategize to capitalize on market opportunities and ensure strategic sales plans complement market place needs
          • Immediately upon hire, quickly develop strong relationships with clients/customers, trade professionals, and external contacts and engage Signify C-Suite with these key contacts
          • Ensure sales plans, goals, and policies are consistent with Company-wide Care Management goals
          • Operate independently in the field with respects to Prospecting and Qualification of new business
          • Extensive knowledge of competitive landscape and product offerings and pricing in the Care Management marketplace
          • Ensure existing clients/customers are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies
          • Ensure all existing and prospective clients/customers are exposed to ALL Care Management product offerings of Signify Health
          • Research and evaluate current and potential markets for sales opportunities
          • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Company internal departments and teams
          • Identify and attend industry trade shows, professional meetings and seminars as needed
          • Keep up-to-date on industry, market, product, and technology trends and provide regular updates to the management team for possible product / service development
          • Assume other duties/responsibilities as assigned

            • May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
            • Lifting requirements of 15 lbs. occasionally
            • Ability to travel up to 75%
