The role will require a blend of project management, business analysis, change management, and process engineering skills where you will need to work at both a strategic and tactical level.Position Summary:Senior Project Managers are responsible for leading the assessment and delivery of implementation of complex, comprehensive solutions across our client base. These roles will build relationships with client executives to assess their needs through comprehensive data analytics, and implementing solutions using Avaap-developed tools and methodologies that meet or exceed specified project results. Our leaders partner with our clients to solve business problems and maintain the appropriate level of support and momentum throughout the engagement. Those applying to Senior Project Manager should possess a deep and global understanding of organizational processes, with a specified area of expertise to drive as much immediate value as possible.Basic Requirements:Infor/Lawson Implementation Project Management experience required.Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a project-based management role within a professional setting.Healthcare industry experience required.Willingness and ability to travel every week (Monday-Thursday).Work extended hours as necessary.Specific Responsibilities Include:Analytics and Problem Solving:Utilize analytical methodologies to support project recommendation outcomes.Lead client interviewing strategy related to data analysis, data interpretation, and process design to support their engagement in solving specific business problems.Construct and/or lead data analysis by ensuring efficient data collection, instructing on analytical choices and summarizing conclusions and recommendations.Managing Projects and People:Coordinate actions to complete work efficiently which includes delegating and leveraging appropriate internal and client resources.Assist in preparation of client deliverables including data analyses, process flows, quality reviews, training, and presentations.Effectively direct, motivate and mentor junior staff, potentially including providing formal feedback as part of the performance management program.Client Relationship Management:Build and manage successful client relationships generating positive client feedback on quality, value, innovation, delivery, and results.Serve as the direct point of contact with a client counterpart and quickly establish credibility for the respective project work stream.Appropriately seek client input and cooperation while ensuring project goals are met.Effectively obtain client feedback and appropriately respond to client concerns.Professional Acumen:Communicate effectively (written and verbal) and appropriately influence various audiences and levels of client management including risks and recommendations to project management.Plan, organize and prioritize project activities using work plans and other project management tools.Demonstrate Avaap's core values as well as a high level of self-awareness to respond to all situations and people with poise, professionalism, and appropriate communications.DescriptionAccountable for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of mid-scale projects to large scale programs (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines).Gain alignment between the Infor ERP technology and business strategy to create an excellent customer experience.Understand client business problems and roadmap goals, objectives and needs to solutions.Negotiate decisions and facilitate delivery through collaboration and leadership.Partner actively with all levels, including senior leaders across the business, technology and Global ERP teams.Manage scope and risk with a focus on business value.Champion organizational readiness with effective leadership, collaboration and partnership.Drive business requirements gathering activities across complex and diverse partners.Collaborate to gather metrics, define success criteria, prepare and coordinate project launches, ensure organizational readiness and production support.Engage in continuous improvement techniques to incorporate takeaways into the PMO methodology.Preferred Requirements:Recent consulting experience in a team-based professional services environment.Focused experience in process reengineering and project management.Strong attention to detail and proven data/analytical and process redesign skills (including problem solving, quantitative reasoning and workflow mapping) to develop analysis and process improvement recommendations to create a solution that drives measurable desired results and maintains client and team satisfaction.Direct supervisory experience and proven ability to capitalize on a diverse group of professional skills and personalities in a team environment, including coaching, mentorship and performance management.Excellent written and documentation skills and attention to detail to create and edit internal and client deliverables that are succinct, articulate and meet our professional standards of quality.Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and ability to accurately gauge others to appropriately guide thinking and behavior, especially in difficult situations.Appropriately influencing and negotiating with clients and;
