Delivers scalable systems solutions for Asset Management
business functions -- fund accounting and performance, securities
and portfolio reference, pricing, and tax. Performs data impact
analysis using data lineage and acquisition, using SQL and PL/SQL
code. Oversees the predictive modeling of security pricing data for
financial portfolios within an asset management environment.
Creates Shell and Perl scripts to orchestrate data movement and to
invoke Control M scheduler jobs.
Manages information technology projects and system
Employs Agile development methodologies using JIRA tool.
Participates in program increment planning sessions, backlog
grooming, iteration planning, and retrospective sessions.
Leads the analysis and documentation of current business
Reviews and contributes to technical specifications to ensure
business requirements are met.
Performs complex data analysis and presents findings to support
Proposes design options and evaluates each for feasibility and
Evaluates impact of upstream system changes and new fund
structures or security types, using data catalog and data lineage

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
performing business and systems analysis within an asset management
Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience performing business and systems
analysis within an asset management environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in the entire data life cycle --
performing data analysis, lineage, mapping, and acquisition --
using SQL and PL/SQL code; performing impact analysis, using
Enterprise Data Catalog and Manta Flow tools; performing data
transformation and distributing data using Informatica data tools
-- PowerCenter and Data Quality Analyst; and developing and
implementing Metadata and data quality strategies, using Mind maps,
SWOT analysis, or fishbone diagrams.
DE deploying and configuring Enterprise Data Catalog and Manta
Flow tools on AWS Cloud platform; deploying and configuring
Collibra Data Governance tool; performing analysis using BIG ID
data privacy regulatory tool; and integrating Enterprise Data
Catalog, Collibra, and BIGID tools with Tableau data analytics
DE gathering business requirements from stakeholders and
translating them into system requirements and technical
specifications, using pseudocode and UML diagrams -- use case,
class, state, entity relationship, activity and, deployment
DE performing predictive modeling on fund operations data, using
statistical modeling techniques -- linear regression, standard
deviation, or box plots with Python as a machine learning tool.
