Job Description:
Designs, develops, tests, and releases defect fixes and
enhancements as part of release cycle. Builds test cases and tests
solutions manually or through automation prior to rollout. Executes
application integration of internal and external applications to
support data in company repository. Uses business knowledge to
translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business
solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications
and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends
changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and
strategies to development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
designing, developing, and delivering financial software solutions
on a ServiceNow SaaS Cloud platform. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience designing, developing, and
delivering financial software solutions on a ServiceNow SaaS Cloud
platform. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing, implementing, and
maintaining complex Java Service Portal applications according to
Agile methodologies, using ServiceNow, Ajax, and Angular JS; and
implementing business requirements on global and scoped
applications in ServiceNow, using Javascript, Ajax, and Angular
JS. DE analyzing disparate data origination from development
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools --
ServiceNow and Python -- to develop Software Development Lifecycle
(SDLC) reports for product and application teams. DE analyzing critical software installation information that
captures the usage and reclaim of software licenses on laptops,
desktops, and servers to design Information Technology Software
Asset Management (IT SAM) features in ServiceNow; and integrating
discovery tools -- HP uCMDB and SCCM -- that discover software
running on server and desktops. DE developing custom integration components (SSO and LDAP) and
integrating legacy systems with ServiceNow, using mid-server, Web
services, email, JDBC, ServiceNow, and REST and SOAP APIs;
developing custom applications for creating and tracking risk
business incidents, scripts, workflows, and change data capture in
ServiceNow; and integrating third-party notification tool --
Pagerduty -- with Servicenow for bi-directional flow of incident
