Job Description:
Crafts and maintains technology solutions and products to
provide accounting and investment management support services for
business units and fund shareholders, using BPM and DMN tools --
Camunda, Alfresco Activiti, Expression Language, and Form.io.
Delivers Business Process Management (BPM) key initiatives on
business process management flows using automation digital
platforms according to Agile methodologies. Defines and implements
end-to-end BPM solutions. Uses business knowledge to translate the
vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by
developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting
studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
performing business and systems analysis within an asset management
environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience performing business and systems
analysis within an asset management environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) participating and implementing all
aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver
enterprise-wide Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, using
Camunda BPM engine and Activiti; participating in architecture and
business discussions -- delivering innovative solutions from
release-to-release and sprint-to-sprint -- according to software
development best practices and Spotify Agile methodologies. DE performing business and application architecture reviews for
BPM and Enterprise Web applications across business units;
reviewing and performance tuning, using Datadog Metrics, JMeter,
and Ahead of Time (AOT) compilations for BPM and Enterprise Web
applications; providing production support for software during
warranty periods using ServiceNow Tool; collaborating with product
owners to build an itemized backlog, using JIRA and Mural boards;
and mentoring and coaching peers and junior team members in the
SDLC, BPMN v2.0 standards, and full stack frameworks -- Camunda,
Java Spring, NodeJS, Form.io, Angular, and Bootstrap
Frameworks. DE performing support and management for BPM and Enterprise Web
Applications hosted on-premise and Cloud, using Camunda Cock-pit,
AWS Cloud watch, Datadog, and PCF App Manager; building proof of
concepts for migrating legacy BPM applications from Activiti and
Appian to Camunda Framework; designing custom and reusable
components using Microservices; and deploying components to Cloud
via EKS (Docker), Artifactory, Concourse, and U-Deploy. DE building the automation of BPM applications by developing
reusable components (ES6 and TypeScript) using Form.io Framework;
designing Camunda plugins, and writing efficient reusable custom
delegates for business use cases using Java Camunda Listeners; and
designing API patterns with scalability and resiliency, using Node
