Job Description:
Builds robust front-end experiences and user-centered software
applications, services, and platforms at scale, using Angular
8+/React VueJs, Typescript, Core JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
Consumes and designs RESTful APIs. Develops User Interfaces (UIs).
Plans, analyzes, designs codes, and performs user testing.
Automates testing by implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous
Deployment (Cl/CD). Uses business knowledge to translate the vision
for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing
complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of
alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
designing, developing, automating, and architecting full-stack
digital solutions according to Agile methodologies, using
JavaScript frameworks and micro front-ends/service architecture, in
a financial services environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience designing, developing, automating,
and architecting full-stack digital solutions according to Agile
methodologies, using JavaScript frameworks and micro
front-ends/service architecture, in a financial services
environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing full stack software
development including front-end development, back-end development,
database integrations, network and hosting management, user
Interface, user experience, services and system integration using
.NET MVC, Sitecore 8+, VueJS, and Azure. DE performing web user interface development using latest (WCAG
2.0 AA, WCAG 2.1 AA, and WAI-ARIA, Section 508 web standards) and
advise team on standards, principles, and techniques for meeting
accessibility success criteria to improve Client web application
accessibility ratings and testing accessibility across various
applications using common screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, MAC/IOS
VoiceOver, and TalkBack), keyboard only, and assistive
technologies. DE architecting, developing, and deploying, using Microsoft
Azure Console, Elastic Containers, and Command Line Interface;
architecting UI and backend applications using deployment
principles -- immutable infrastructure and event driven
architecture; and creating core services (Cloud, data, and
container services). DE developing and configuring content management platforms,
