Job Description:
Duties: Develops software applications to ensure compliance with
SEC and FINRA regulations. Analyzes, designs, and develops Angular JS,
Node JS, AWS, Java/J2EE, and Web-based applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting
several divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of
a project. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering,
Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a
closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or
three (3) years of experience developing and supporting J2EE Web and
mobile applications within a financial services environment; Or,
alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience
developing and supporting J2EE Web and mobile applications within a
financial services environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise
(“DE”) designing and developing highly scalable Single Page Employee
Compliance Web applications for multiple delivery platforms, including Web,
desktop, and mobile platforms; and incorporating REST and Web services,
responsive presentation, and cloud compatibility; DE building highly
scalable online enterprise compliance applications using Angular JS, Java/J2EE,
Spring, Restful Web Services, and Cloud Technologies (AWS); DE building
and deploying applications and services to host in virtual machines;
and deploying code using automation through Jenkins and IBM uDeploy;
DE executing in a self-directed Scrum team applying scaled Agile
