Job Description:

Duties: Performs Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

development, migration, and support. Researches, designs, and implements

scalable applications for extracting, analyzing, and retrieving data.

Performs continuous integration and development using Confluence, Stash,

Jenkins, and Jira. Provides business solutions by developing complex or

multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in Oracle

analytics and development within a financial brokerage environment; Or,

alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in Oracle

analytics and development within a financial brokerage environment.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and

developing ETL processes using Informatica, including data marts and models

using star schema, fact tables, and dimension tables; and performing ETL

application development, including application support and maintenance,

performance tuning jobs, and automated manual tasks; DE designing,

implementing, and tuning complex database applications, using PL/SQL with

TOAD and SQL Developer, including source code management and version

control using DevOps tools (git-stash, Jenkins, and Jira); and performing

UNIX shell scripting and scheduling using Control-M; DE developing Java

applications using Spring Hibernate framework; performing application

build, deployment, and support, using Maven, Ant, and continuous

integration tools; performing integration and unit testing using jUnit; and

designing technical solutions using UML; DE developing business

intelligence solutions for reporting and data warehousing in a cost and

profitability system development environment using Oracle OBIEE tool and

performing big data analytics using big machine learning (ML) tools and big

data technologies (Hadoop, Scala, and Scoop).
