specialize in maintaining long-term adult wellness. Additionally,
aninternal medicine team treats pediatric patients.
Both teams include experts in the prevention, earlydiagnosis, and
treatment of common disorders, including diabetes, heartdisease,
and high blood pressure.

Our physicians coordinate the care of patients with
complexdisorders, assuring that all aspects of their health receive
the proper care.They also oversee active research programs in
Alzheimer's disease, osteoporosisprevention, cancer epidemiology,
geriatrics, hypertension, and various geneticdisorders, providing
patients the benefit of the latest medical thinking.
Experience and Education
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program from
approvedschool of nursing, licensure as LVN by Board of Nurse
Examiners for State ofTexas.
One (1) year experience in clinical setting preferred. Current
Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certification through a course accredited
by the American HeartAssociation (AHA) is required.
Administers personaland therapeutic measures to patients as
directed by physicians and/ornurses.
Schedules patients' appointments, tests, and procedures via on line
computersystem or telephone, and reinforces physician instructions
in person andthrough telephone contact. Obtains medical history
from patients throughstructured interviews in accordance with
Assists in care of patients by preparing exam rooms for patient
care,facilitating use of diagnostic equipment, and assuring
availability of neededpatient information, such as reports of
diagnostic exams and medicalrecords.
Prepares and administers medications as prescribed by the
physician. May startand administer intravenous fluids and
