responsible for monitoring changes with internal laws and
regulations to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines.

- The Pharmacy Compliance Officer is a role that supports the
Medicare and Retirement line of business. -The Pharmacy Compliance
Officer is responsible for aligning the pharmacy compliance
strategy with the pharmacy business strategy. The Pharmacy
Compliance Officer will provide strategic leadership and utilize a
matrixed team to execute on issues of non-compliance or areas of
identified risk(s). The Pharmacy Compliance Officer is responsible
for driving complex business processes throughout and across the
organization. -This role requires development of relationships with
executive and senior level business leaders, and understanding of,
the business structure. - There is a lot at stake in this position.
Your responsibilities will include highly complex or unusual
business problems that affect major functions. You will lead a team
and direct others to resolve issues and develop corrective action
plans to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and company,
customer and accreditation requirements. - Positions in this
function monitor changes to laws and regulations to ensure
compliance with State & Federal laws, regulations and mandates.
Establish and implement standard policies, procedures, processes
and best practices across UHG to promote compliance with applicable
laws and contractual obligations. Conduct state-specific legal
research and monitor changes to requirements to mitigate risks and
achieve compliance. Support the collection of data for regulatory
filings, coordinate and develop reports, projects, assessment tools
to verify compliance. May develop compliance communications and
drive problem resolution for a business. You'll enjoy the

take on some tough challenges. - Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of standard policies, procedures and
best practices across the company to promote compliance with
applicable laws and contractual obligations
- Facilitate implementation of state-specific legal research and
monitor changes to requirements to mitigate risks and achieve
compliance
- Develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution
for a business segment
- Collaborate with operations to review, analyze and
develop/oversee initial implementation project plans and/or
corrective action plans to ensure compliance with new or existing
laws and regulations and company, customer and accreditation
requirements
- Consult and coordinate with new business/sales/product
development to determine all regulations pertaining to any products
being offered in the marketplace
- -Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance
and results through multiple layers of management and senior level
professional staff
- Impact of work is most often at the regional (e.g. multi-state)
level, or is responsible for a major portion of a business segment,

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience working in a government, legal, health
care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a
regulatory, privacy or compliance role
- 5+ years of experience supervising and leading a team
- 5+ years of experience leading and implementing a comprehensive
compliance program
- 5+ years of project management experience, including experience
simultaneously managing multiple projects
- 3+ years of experience with state, HIPAA and other federal
privacy laws
- 3+ years of experience working with Federal or State Programs

- Experience working with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare

Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $134,200 to
$257,700. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$134,200 to $257,700. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
