Medical Center is hiring for Population Research Project Assistant
II, School of Public Health Dean's Admin and OperationsPerform
qualitative interviews and/or administer quantitative surveys to
research participants. Prepares protocols and detailed summaries
for multiple research studies. Apply advanced knowledge of research
methodology and techniques to develop more complex survey
instruments; evaluate methodologies and tools and suggest
modifications for improvement. Perform a variety of complex and
independent activities involved in the analysis and interpretation
of results and the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
Contribute to reports, papers and other publications; prepare
tables and graphs for publication and presentation. Assist in
developing and submitting grant proposals. Supervise data
collectors and data analysts. Performs other duties as
assigned.Experience and EducationBachelor's degree in related field
with 1-2 years' experience required.Prefer bilingual fluency in
English and Spanish.Job DutiesRecruit and screen participants for
multiple research projects; recruitment may take place on or off
campus or via telephone.Schedule appointments, obtain consent
forms, explain study to participant and collect data. Interview
participants for assigned research projects; interviews may be in
person, in clinical setting, subject's residence or by
telephone.Travel to recruitment sites as needed.Compile and verify
the accuracy of research information based on quality criteria;
abstract, classify and code data.Perform a variety of research
duties such as library reference materials search for necessary
project information.Performs literature searches, document results
and discuss results with supervisor.Perform medical records
abstractions, data coding and data entry.Compile data and produce
reports to be used for analysis of research findings. Other Duties:
