Responsibilities Director of Patient Care Services Job Responsibilities
  • The DPCS is responsible for the management of the agency's clinical operations, personnel performance, and delivery of quality clinical services
  • Assures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards and assists the Executive Director (ED) in achieving budget goals.--Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program and the relevant requirements including the Code of Conduct, Documentation Compliance, and HIPAA.
  • The DPCS assumes the ED responsibilities in the absence of the ED.

    • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred, in nursing or other health related field
    • Registered nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the state
    • Minimum three years' experience, within the last five years, in a home health agency with at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative role
    • Current CPR certification
    • Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) preferred
    • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state
