We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications* This is a Full Time Day shift position, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm *As an Infection Control RN, you will assist with the coordination of all aspects of the facility infection prevention and control program. Directly involved with activities directed toward prevention and control of healthcare-associate infections. Serves as an infection prevention and control consultant for facility staff, patients, and the community. Interacts with physicians, outside agencies, corporate/divisional staff as well as all departments within the facility. What qualifications you will need:
  • Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing, Associate's degree required, BSN required within 24 months of hire
  • Minimum of 3 years current clinical experience in an acute care hospital
  • 1-2 years experience in Infection Prevention and Control preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
