About The Position We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting on Jul 7, 2025. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule with daily shifts lasting 4-6 hours. The practitioner will be responsible for rounding in a unit focused on brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders among children with autism. Job Details - Location: Texas - Start Date: Jul 7, 2025 - LOA: 56 days - Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Mon - Fri, 4-6 hours daily Responsibilities and Duties - Provide medical care and rounding in a specialized unit - Manage cases involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurodevelopmental issues in pediatric patients - Work with children diagnosed with autism, ensuring tailored and effective interventions - Maintain detailed patient records using Meditech EHR - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Additional Information - Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Must have inpatient experience - Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas Apply now to learn more!
