Job Description:
As an Infectious Disease Officer, you’ll be responsible for
studying the causes, effects, and patterns of infectious diseases,
including biological warfare threats. You’ll oversee laboratory
operations to identify, observe, and confirm the diseases, their
responses, and study the spread of disease. You’ll also consult on
public health policy that impacts the lives of the Soldiers, our

Requirements: Possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy

Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate
from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates Must have
a current, valid, active and unrestricted license to practice
medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or U.S.
territory Must be eligible for board certification Must have
completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical
Education (GME) internship Must be able to meet the criteria to be
appointed as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserve Must be
a permanent resident of the United States
