The RN uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery for specific patient populations and health conditions. Applying the nursing process, the RN assesses patients, develops and implements individualized care plans, evaluates patient responses, and ensures smooth transitions through the healthcare encounter. Delegation of interventions to healthcare personnel is performed according to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and staff competencies. Essential Functions - Assess patient condition, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop an individualized plan of care. - Implement nursing interventions and evaluate the patient’s response. - Utilize clinical knowledge to ensure patients transition through care without preventable complications or delays. - Delegate interventions appropriately to other healthcare personnel. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. - Provide patient education and support as appropriate. Submission Requirements - Minimum 2 years RN Cath Lab experience – Required - Critical care experience (ICU, ED, etc.) or prior Cath/EP Lab experience – Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred - ACLS & BLS – Required Contact HumanEdge Health /> HumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID 13166.
