Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work in a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) • Patient ratio of 1:4 • Float to medical surgical and PCU units as needed • Work 4 shifts per schedule • Use Meditech electronic medical record system • Must call in before 5:00 AM for day shifts or 5:00 PM for night shifts if unable to work • PCU experience required • ACLS certification required • Dress code: Royal blue scrubs • Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 floor nurses, and 2 technicians • Night shift maintains same staffing pattern as day shift Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized Progressive Care Unit designed to provide intermediate-level care for patients requiring monitoring between intensive care and general medical floors.
