Position Overview HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Technologist
for the Cath Lab in Dallas, TX. The Technologist performs
specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral
vascular studies, and electrophysiology procedures. They serve as a
resource to clinical staff and collaborate with the intra-procedure
team to ensure safe and high-quality patient care. Essential
Responsibilities - Conducts specialized cardiac catheterization,
peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. - Serves as
a lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff to ensure
optimal utilization of skills. - Collaborates with the procedure
team to provide safe patient care and participates in Universal
Protocol and site marking identification. - Assists with patient
identification, preparation, draping, and room setup for
procedures. Reviews physician orders and selects equipment in
accordance with protocols, regulations, and Parkland standards. -
Maintains, calibrates, and troubleshoots equipment, performing
preventive maintenance and instructing technologists on operation
of special procedures equipment. - Identifies opportunities to
improve work processes and patient satisfaction; implements
recommendations as approved. - Maintains knowledge of developments
and trends in cardiovascular technology, integrating best practices
into daily work. - Ensures compliance with all applicable rules,
regulations, policies, and accreditation standards related to
cardiovascular technology. Submission Requirements - Minimum 1 year
experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases – Required - ARRT
or RCIS – Required - ACLS & BLS – Required - State of TX Medical
