ICU RN Job Details - Location: Dallas, TX 75237 (Texas nursing jobs) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026) - Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15) - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680–$1730 - Patient Ratio: 1:2 - Weekend Coverage: Required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period) - Floating: May float to IMC, PCU, or Step Down units as needed - Charting System: Epic Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (AHA preferred; military acceptable) - Experience with Epic charting system - Proficient in arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and multisystem organ dysfunction care - Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts provided) - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) ICU Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult and geriatric patients - Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including advanced therapies (CRRT, hypothermia therapy, intra-aortic balloon pump support) - Administer and titrate cardiac drips, intensive insulin drips, heparin, sedation, and analgesia - Perform wound care, manage surgical drains and wound vacs, and provide nutritional support (TPN, tube feedings) - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response) - Float to IMC, PCU, or Step Down units as needed - Accurately document all nursing care in Epic - Participate in orientation and complete required modules (average 8-12 hours) Apply now to join our Dallas ICU nursing team and take the next step in your healthcare career!
