Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Candidates must have RN license. CST experience for scrub tech. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular surgery. The unit has 5 operating rooms, consisting of 3 open and 2 hybrid rooms. The staff includes day shift RNs, CSTs, and PCTs, with night shift on-call personnel. Patient ratios are 1:1. Typical procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants. A preferred qualification is possession of a CNOR certification. The team's protocol for on-call duty requires a 45-minute response time. Weekends and night shifts will be covered by on-call shifts. Dress code is scrubs provided for OR staff.
