Pay Information $1,938 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - L&D Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby couplet care experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS and NRP certified Must-Have: Candidates without the following skills will not be considered for the role: - 2 years of Mother-Baby couplet care experience - BLS and NRP certification Description: This is a travel RN position in Labor and Delivery. The role requires delivering high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced maternity setting. The unit has 66 beds and a staff of 82. Patient ratios are 1:6. Types of equipment used include phototherapy equipment, glucometers, SCDs, and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Centricity and Meditech. Typical procedures performed include circumcisions, frenulectomy, blood glucose monitoring, phototherapy, bladder scanning, and catheterization. The ideal candidate should have experience with handling high-acuity patients. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly, flexible, and possess a positive attitude. A helpful team player and quick learner will fit well within the unit.
