per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13
weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum
2 years in MICU/MSICU License: Active RN license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2
years MICU/MSICU experience Description: The position involves
providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in
an intensive care setting. Assignments are made according to
patient acuity and nursing skills. The role requires proficiency
with all ICU equipment, including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun,
and GE Cardiac Output monitors. Documentation will be completed
using Meditech software. Nurses may be required to float as needed
within the unit. The unit performs a range of procedures including
central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter
placements, cardioversions, intubations, and various other ICU
procedures. Nurses are expected to adhere to a specific dress code,
including wearing royal blue scrubs. Nail policies necessitate
clean and healthy nails without artificial enhancements. Hair
should be neat and clean, free from extreme styles or colors, and
pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body art should be
covered whenever possible, while visible piercings other than
earlobes are prohibited. Attendance policies are strictly enforced.
