Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty:
Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Description: This position is for a
Transplant Progressive Care Unit. Candidates must have valid BLS
and ACLS certifications. The unit has a total of 17 beds with an
estimated patient ratio of 1:4. The team consists of 6 RNs and 1
Patient Care Technician (PCT) on both the day and night shifts.
Typical procedures performed include general surgeries and kidney
transplants. Time management is an essential skill for this role.
Candidates without BLS and ACLS certifications will not be
considered. Preferred skills include familiarity with various
patient management techniques. Scrubs should be royal blue in
color. The role will require floating to all acute care areas as
needed. Weekend shifts will be required, with 4 weekends scheduled
per month.
