qualified NICU RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230! Pay Information $1,765
per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing

License required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience
with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above) Management of central
lines Respiratory management up to and including intubated patients
Experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, care of trach
infants, and broviacs Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The unit is
staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs. There are 108 beds
on this unit, with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4. The
equipment used includes nasal cannulas, Bubble CPAP, vents,
oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes. Documentation
systems used are CPN and Meditech. The schedule requires three
12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Contract staff members may float to other areas, including PICU,
Pediatrics, and CICU. Candidates must be able to care for patients
up to 2 years old. Advanced skills required include performing
procedures such as central line insertions, circumcisions,
exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations. All
nurses are expected to adhere to unit guidelines and policies.
