contract - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - Hours per
Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1610–$1730 - Unit Size: 66 beds -
EMR Systems: Centricity, Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Active RN license (Texas or compact state) - Minimum 2 years of
Mother-Baby couplet care or Labor & Delivery nursing experience -
BLS & NRP certifications required - Experience with high-acuity
maternity patients preferred - Ability to deliver high-quality,
family-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting - Outgoing,
friendly, flexible, and positive attitude - Team-player and quick
learner Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities - Provide
comprehensive clinical care to mothers and newborns during labor,
delivery, and postpartum - Monitor patient status, respond to
emergencies, and ensure patient safety - Perform unit procedures:
circumcisions, frenulectomy, blood glucose monitoring,
phototherapy, bladder scanning, and catheterization - Collaborate
with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: charge nurses, admit
nurses, nursery nurses, lactation consultants, and patient care
techs - Utilize phototherapy equipment, glucometers, SCDs, and IV
pumps - Document patient care and interventions using Centricity
and Meditech EMR systems - Float to women's health units as needed
