the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years
of neuro experience required. License: Active nursing license
required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have:
Charting experience in Epic is required. Travel experience is
required. Patient ratio experience of 1:2 is necessary. Clinical
experience in neuro-intensive care is essential. Description: The
Neuro ICU requires a registered nurse with neuro experience.
Candidates must be available for day shifts of 3x12 hours. A
minimum of 2 years of experience in a neuro ICU setting is
required. Travel experience is mandatory for this position.
Familiarity with the Epic charting system is a prerequisite.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required. Patient care
will involve a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Float duties may include
ICU, IMC, and Tele as needed. The unit consists of 14 rooms and has
16 beds available. Clinical skills needed include blood product
administration, care of ventilated patients, central line
management, and post-neurosurgery care. The candidate will be
involved in the management of dysrhythmias and neurological
assessments. An interdisciplinary support team will be present,
including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Patient diagnoses may vary and special procedures will be
encountered. Experience in trauma levels I and II is preferred but
