Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,619 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN preferred Must-Have: - 2 years ICU experience - BLS - ACLS Description: Unit highlights are important for sourcing skilled candidates. The unit provides care for a surgical population, especially oncology. There are 16 beds in the unit with expected patient ratios of 1:2. Assignments are based on acuity and nurse skills. All standard ICU equipment is utilized, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors. Documentation is completed using Meditech. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and available a month in advance. Floating is required as needed based on staffing needs. Preferred skills include experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols. It is essential to maintain a professional appearance, including the following dress code: Scrub color for RNs is royal blue. Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails with no artificial enhancements. Hair should be neat and clean, avoiding extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be neatly trimmed. If hair is shoulder-length or longer, it should be pulled back while working. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ears are not permitted. Attendance policies must be adhered to as per the company guidelines.
