Job Description:
Methodist Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to
join our dedicated team in providing top-tier diagnostic services.
This position is crucial for offering comprehensive healthcare
through the use of magnetic resonance imaging technology to
diagnose and assess patient conditions. As a member of our team,
you will operate MRI equipment, ensure the comfort and safety of
patients, and collaborate with radiologists to produce and analyze
high-quality images. As a MRI Technologist in our facilities, you
will contribute directly to the care and improvement of patient
outcomes, embodying our mission to deliver compassionate,
high-quality healthcare. Operate MRI equipment to produce images as
per the established guidelines. Ensure the safety and comfort of
patients during scans, taking time to explain the procedure.
Monitor patient reactions and maintain patient records. Collaborate
with radiologists and other healthcare team members to analyze
images and support accurate diagnosis. Maintain and perform regular
checks on MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or
inconsistencies. Follow all hospital policies and procedures
related to healthcare and imaging to adhere with safety standards.
Proficiency with MRI operating procedures and protocols. Strong
understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle
a high-stress environment and respond to patient needs. Technical
skills to operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic
Technologist (CRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) certification, specifically in MRI.
