What You Will Do: Prepare patients for surgery in the pre-op unit,
ensuring they are informed, comfortable, and ready for their
procedures. Monitor patients in the PACU post-surgery, providing
expert care during recovery, including pain management and patient
education. Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a
seamless flow of care throughout the patient's experience. Maintain
accurate medical records and follow all safety protocols to ensure
the highest standards of care. You'll Know You're a Good Fit for
This Position If You Have: A valid RN license in the state of
Texas. Previous experience in pre-op or PACU nursing, preferably in
an outpatient or ambulatory setting. Ideal candidate demonstrates
confidence and accuracy in IV starts for surgical and
post?anesthesia patients Strong communication skills and the
ability to reassure and educate patients during stressful moments.
