Job Description:
Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated Neurophysiology
Tech I to join our team across Texas. In this role, you will be
responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic services by
administering neurophysiology tests. Your work will directly
support our neurologists and other healthcare professionals in
diagnosing and treating neurological issues with utmost accuracy
and care. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a
healthcare setting that focuses on innovative patient care while
using state-of-the-art medical technology. Administer and conduct
routine and complex neurophysiological tests, including EEGs, EMGs,
and Evoked Potentials, under physician supervision. Prepare
patients for procedures, explaining the processes to alleviate
anxieties and ensure comfort. Analyze test data and report critical
information to healthcare practitioners promptly. Maintain and
calibrate neurophysiology equipment to ensure operational efficacy.
Document all tests and outcomes accurately, complying with patient
confidentiality and legal guidelines. Strong understanding of
neurophysiological devices and testing procedures. Ability to
interpret complex physiological data. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively interact with patients and
healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
