Position: Invasive Cardiology RN Cath Lab Patient Population: Adult
Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Vascular patients Status: Full
Time Days Shift: 4/10 Hour Days Call Requirements: One day a week
and one weekend every six weeks. Must be within 30min call radius.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of high-level Cardiovascular
ICU/CVICU and/or Cath Lab RN experience. Will consider ER
candidates with minimum 2 years of level I Trauma experience.
Patient Ratios: Cath/RP team comprised of RN’s and Rad Techs
working in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care,
collaborating with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers.
Number of Beds: 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2

As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the
healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your
responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health
issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. As a
nurse, secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in
healthcare. Help patients, prevent issues. Follow Texas Nursing
Practice Act, delegate tasks based on condition and team
competencies. What You'll Do - You, as an RN, will conduct detailed
clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create,
implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired
outcomes. - Building relationships, managing discomfort and staying
professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and
families. - Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving
issues. - You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and
community members to empower them with knowledge for better
healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. -
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate
tasks carefully and follow up promptly. - You'll use different
strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff.
Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and

Specialized field of study should be nursing. - A current and valid
nursing license. - Must have BLS/ACLS certification or obtain
within 30 days of starting in this role. - Minimum 2 years of
