The staff has expertise in managing patients post prostate surgery, renal stones, surgeries on the bladder and kidney. The staff is adept at 3-wa catheter irrigations, bladder scans, and incontinency procedures. The patients admitted to this unit range from young adulthood through geriatrics. Admissions may also include other medical-surgical, telemetry overflow. UT does not contract travelers residing in the following counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
