This cutting-edge unit features the latest imaging technology and performs a wide range of procedures — from minimally invasive interventions to complex, high-acuity treatments. This is an excellent opportunity for: - A Radiologic Technologist with a strong desire to transition into IR - A Rad Tech with some IR exposure seeking cross-training and skill expansion - An experienced Rad Tech (2 years) ready to advance into a specialized field Schedule & Call Requirements - Shift: Full-Time Days - Hours: 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM - On-Call: - 7–8 call shifts per month - 1 weekday call shift per week - 1 weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) per month - Must reside within a 30-minute radius for call response Job Summary Under general supervision of a Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider. Responsibilities include diagnostic imaging for disease and injury in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders - Assist with interventional radiology procedures as trained - Prepare patients for imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort - Maintain sterile field and procedural support in IR setting - Operate and maintain imaging equipment - Ensure radiation safety compliance and quality imaging standards - Document procedures accurately in EMR - Participate in call rotation as required QualificationsEducation - Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program Experience - Less than 1 year required - Ideal Candidate: 2 years of Radiologic Tech experience Certifications / Licensure - ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography) - Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 days of hire/transfer - Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) – Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits/n/n401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%/n/nTuition reimbursement/n/nPTO accrual beginning Day 1/n/nCareer advancement in a rapidly growing IR specialty About Pyramid Consulting Supercharge your career with Pyramid Consulting.
