Job Summary and Qualifications Performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process/outcomes of a variety of medical/surgical and telemetry patients. Make assignments to licensed staff (LVN, RN) and delegate to unlicensed staff in compliance with current BNE rules in a structured health setting for patients with predictable as well as unpredictable health needs What qualifications you will need: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse in the State of Texas of have a Compact license - Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing - BSN is required within 24 months of hire - Must have a minimum of two years' experience in specialty areas in a hospital environment within the past three years - Must be a graduate of a professional school of nursing Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
