Job Description As a Solid Organ Transplant Clinic RN

future of nursing. Job Summary and Qualifications The RN
Coordinator Kidney/Pancreas/Liver Transplant is a registered nurse
who plans, coordinates and implements the care of solid organ
transplant patient and living donor as applicable in both the
in-patient and out-patient settings in accordance with the nursing
process. Our team includes experienced and dedicated physicians,
organ transplant surgeons, pharmacists, nurses and other hospital
staff who are specially trained in working with patients with
kidney disease. These experts also work with specialists from
related fields - including cardiology, radiology, interventional
radiology, psychology, pathology and infection disease - to
determine the best care plan. This often includes multiple
treatment options, which may be part of preparation for organ
transplantation. What qualifications you will need: - Basic Cardiac
Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
date - (RN) Registered Nurse - Associate Degree; BSN required w/12
month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital) -
Critical Care, ICU or BMT experience preferred - CCTC preferred;
should be obtained after 2 years as a Transplant Coordinator -
One-year experience in management of organ failure/transplant
