This position requires keen analytical skills to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. At HCA, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of skilled professionals to improve patient outcomes. Assess patient's respiratory conditions through diagnostic tests and evaluations. Administer treatments and manage devices such as ventilators and CPAP machines. Record findings in patient records and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients and families on lung health and disease prevention. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and progress. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory care technology and practices. Proficiency in using respiratory care devices and tools Ability to perform detailed assessments and create appropriate treatment plans Strong communication skills for patient instruction and collaboration with healthcare teams Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential is required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
