At our core, we are a glass half-full, can-do bunch, united as one to make a great brand.POSITION SUMMARY:Reports to VP, Off-Premises & MenuGrowing catering sales is a key priority for QDOBA, and we want to accelerate our momentum as the brand emerges from Covid. As the Director of Catering Sales, you will lead sales efforts to build a nationwide catering business. You will oversee and develop a team of regional catering sales managers responsible for selling the QDOBA catering experience in company-owned territories to decision makers in B2B segments such as office managers, administrative assistants, pharmaceutical/medical representatives, and universities. Your focus will be on new customer acquisition and lead generation, as well as building order frequency through relationship building.KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans to drive catering sales in all company-owned restaurants and across all regions.
  • Oversee execution of regional plans by Regional Catering Sales Managers.
  • Leverage CRM software to acquire new customers and convert leads, cultivate relationships with customers, and reengage lapsed customers. Regularly analyze customers, sales, frequency of orders, etc. at the regional level.
  • Provide coaching, support, and development opportunities for regional catering sales manager team, currently four managers but likely to expand over time. Ensure efficiency, productivity, and proper time management.
  • Manage relationship with two key external partners - CRM software vendor and call center.
  • Manage direct sales for national accounts
  • Identify opportunities to improve QDOBA catering product offering and service experience.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships Operations leadership, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and IT.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Hospitality Management, or relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
    • 5 -7 years progressive Sales experience. Must have 3 years of managing a sales team, preferably experience with a remote sales team . Experience to include advanced knowledge of sales cycle, lead generation, development of sales strategies and plans, cold-calling and business-to-business sales with a consultative selling approach, preferably in restaurant or hospitality environment.
    • Requires excellent oral and written English communication skills. Must possess strong negotiation, influencing, organization, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to interpret the business goals of the company and apply sales techniques to expedite the achievement of those goals. Demonstrated capability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced, enthusiastic work environment. Advanced knowledge of personal computers and related Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.). Proficient knowledge and understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) software, SalesForce or other contact management systems and platforms; experience with online ordering systems a plus. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
    • Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Ability to work remotely, in a fast-paced sales environment. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to restaurants and other business locations approximately 50% of time; additional travel may be required on occasion.Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to travel up to 25% of time to restaurants or other locations as business needs require.
