Supervisor your position requires you to supervise a team of
welders and fabricators who work on the necessary component parts
of a piping fabrication that supports the organization's production
goals and objectives while meeting and/or exceeding customer
expectations.Essential Supervision Duties:
Welding setup and
assembler/fabricatorInterpretation of drawings/specificationsCut,
form and weld mild steel material to specificationAbility to use
various clamping tools, fixtures and devicesConsistently
demonstrate understanding of core welding technologies/principles
in theory and ApplicationInterface with various levels in the
organization and share information as requiredComply with all
regulatory welding, and quality requirementsFollow all company
policies, procedures, and safety rulesMaintain work area in a clean
and orderly conditionPerform other duties as assignedMinimum
Qualifications:
Must be a certified welderMust have 2
years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing
environmentAbility to use table lifters and other lifting
equipmentAbility to build complex assembliesExperience with welding
large and small weldmentsExperience welding in multiple
positionsWorks well with deadlinesAbility to drive forkliftAbility
to use welding equipment/tools proficiently such as: MIG welder,
TIG welder, stick welder, grinder, soldering tools, cutting tools,
etc.Ability to work 8-hour shift- 2:30PM to 11:00PMWork

to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry, reach as needed
in large and tight spacesAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. above head
